1. Where is the closest dump point?

Kyogle Showgrounds

The town of Kyogle is approximately 20 minutes away with a supermarket, fuel stations, cafes & eateries, pubs, op shops and hardware stores.  It even has a bowling alley and cinema.

Wiangaree General Store is a short 10 minute drive offering take away food, bottle shop & Australia Post services.

4. Is firewood and ice available at the campgrounds?

Yes, we sell both firewood and ice. 

Please note due to fire ant restrictions, firewood cannot be brought into NSW from Queensland.

Yes, we have a weekend coffee shop right here on site for campers and people passing by. Opening hours vary depending on the time of the year.

The heritage listed Border Ranges National Park is a 10 minute drive away offering spectacular walks and lookouts.

1. Is the camp kitchen available to all guests?

Yes, the camp kitchen and undercover area are available for guest use during their stay.

Yes, filtered drinking water is accessible throughout the campground.

Yes, we provide on-site laundry facilities for guest convenience.

Yes, hot showers are available for all guests.

Yes, flush toilets include accessible facilities for guests with mobility needs.
6. Can we use the fire pits at night?

Fire pits are available for use, subject to weather conditions and local fire restrictions.

Rainforest Gateway offers approximately four acres of open camping and recreational space.

Yes, the creek is perennial and flows year-round.

Kayaks are available for hire, subject to availability and conditions.

The facilities are shared and well maintained to ensure comfort for all guests.

1. Do you allow group bookings for motorcycle clubs?
Yes, groups and clubs are welcome. Just let us know your dates and group size so we can prepare suitable spaces.
Riders can park next to their cabin or campsite. We offer open visibility and easy access for added peace of mind.
Yes, we offer comfortable 1-bedroom cabins ideal for riders who prefer a secure and warm overnight stay.
Absolutely — we have powered and unpowered grassy sites perfect for tents or swags.
Yes, the access roads are rider-friendly and commonly used by touring motorcyclists.
6. Do you provide laundry facilities for long-distance riders?
Yes, laundry facilities are available onsite for washing and drying gear.

BYO supplies and utilise the fully equipped camp kitchen, grab a burger at Wiangaree General Store 10 mins away, or if you’re organising a club ride, contact us for catering options.

Yes, overnight stays are welcome. Many riders use Rainforest Gateway as a comfortable stopover.

The creekside area, open lawns, and shaded spots are perfect for resting, stretching, and cooling off. Or put your feet up in the camp kitchen lounge area and tell a yarn around the communal fireplace.

Yes — the Border Ranges, Kyogle region, and QLD routes offer beautiful rides. We can point you to local favourites.

You can share the facilities with fellow campers or book the entire campground for a private event, giving you complete control over the experience.

1. What types of events can be held at Rainforest Gateway?

We host weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, family gatherings, live music events, and group retreats.

We can accommodate approximately 150 people on-site.

Yes, our relaxed outdoor setting is ideal for couples looking for an affordable wedding option.

Yes, events have access to the camp kitchen, undercover area, fire pits, and open grounds.

Exclusive bookings can be discussed depending on dates and event size.

6. Is there a stage for live music or performances?
Yes, we have a designated stage area suitable for live music and small performances.

Camping and caravan sites can be arranged for event guests, subject to availability.

Yes, Rainforest Gateway is dog-friendly, but pets must be supervised at all times.  Please note dogs are not allowed in cabins.
